Sauna – the favourite with men

Since the law prohibits erecting buildings any closer to water bodies than 50 meters, we offer a transferrable sauna with a size of 8 m3 that holds up to 6 people. The sauna has a hexagonal bitumen shingle roof, glass door, sweating bench and Harvia wood-burning stove that needs only half an hour to heat the room up to 80-90ºC, i.e. the optimum temperature for a sauna. A wood-burning stove provides far better steam that an electric stove since it does not dry the air. The sauna are made of spruce and impregnated with tar oil. A moderate exposure to steam is therapeutic for kidneys; it lowers the blood pressure and alleviates the symptoms of fatigue. Saunas are also beneficial for people, who suffer from chronic polyarthritis, radiculitis and some metabolic disorders. The steam boosts the functionality of skin, external muscles and respiratory tract whereas the increased perspiration helps lose weight (body loses about 200 – 1500 g humidity in a steam sauna). The steam prompts vegetative changes in the nervous system and adds to the freedom of breathing and movement. You may add common marine salt, herb extracts as well as a few drops of essential oils (grapefruit, juniper or fennel that boost your metabolism and lymph circulation) to the water for more delight. Herbal therapy is beneficial for your body, senses as well as emotions.

The most eager sauna-goers may enter the steam-room already half an hour into the heating process!
